Todgha Gorge is a spectacular limestone canyon east of Ouarzazate, its sheer walls rising up to 300 metres above a narrow river channel at the canyon's tightest point. A popular destination for hiking and rock climbing, with routes for all levels bolted into the cliff faces, it also marks the point where the Todgha River emerges from the High Atlas onto the desert plains.
