Talassemtane National Park
Talassemtane National Park stretches across the Rif Mountains around Chefchaouen, protecting rare fir and cedar forests, dramatic limestone peaks, and the endangered Barbary macaque. Its trails, including the popular route to the Akchour waterfalls, make it one of the best hiking destinations in northern Morocco, easily reached from Chefchaouen.
