Sqala du Port
Sqala du Port is the fortified 18th-century sea wall guarding the entrance to Essaouira's fishing harbour, its ramparts lined with rows of historic bronze cannons facing the Atlantic. Fishing boats pass directly beneath its walls each morning, and the ramparts offer sweeping views over the harbour and the medina's blue-and-white skyline.
