Kasbah Ras El Ain is a ruined 17th-century fortress built during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail, perched on a hill overlooking Beni Mellal and the fertile Tadla plain below. Though largely in ruins today, its walls and gates still hint at its former role guarding the approach to the city, and its hilltop position offers some of the best panoramic views over Beni Mellal.
