Kasbah of Tifoultoute
Kasbah of Tifoultoute is a hilltop earthen fortress just outside Ouarzazate, once a Glaoui stronghold controlling the caravan routes through the region. Partly restored and now home to a small restaurant terrace, it's best known as one of the finest sunset viewpoints in the area, its silhouette glowing red against the surrounding palm groves and desert hills.
