The Kasbah Mosque, also known as the Mosque of Moulay El Yazid, stands within Marrakech's historic royal Kasbah district near the Saadian Tombs, built by the Almohads in the 12th century. Its minaret, decorated with the same green ceramic tilework seen on the Koutoubia, remains an active place of worship in one of the city's oldest quarters.
