Kasbah Amridil, in the palm-grove oasis of Skoura, is one of Morocco's best-preserved earthen kasbahs, its imposing towers and decorated interior famously pictured on the old 50-dirham banknote. Still partly lived in and maintained by the same family for generations, it offers one of the most authentic looks at traditional Berber kasbah architecture and daily life near Ouarzazate.
