Heri es-Swani
Heri es-Swani are the vast royal granaries and stables built by Moulay Ismail to store grain and house thousands of horses, their thick walls and high ceilings engineered to keep supplies cool through Meknes's hot summers. The scale of the surviving arched chambers remains one of the most impressive sights of imperial Meknes.
