Dar Glaoui

Dar Glaoui, once the residence of the powerful Glaoui family, who controlled much of southern Morocco under the French protectorate, is a sprawling palace in Fes known for its ornate courtyards, carved plasterwork, and painted cedar ceilings. Parts of it remain occupied by the family, while other sections have opened to limited visits and restoration.
