CLA Studios is one of the major film production complexes around Ouarzazate, part of the town's long-standing role as a filming hub for international epics shot against its desert light, mountain backdrops, and low production costs. Alongside the larger Atlas Studios nearby, it has helped earn Ouarzazate its nickname "Ouallywood."
