Bin El Ouidane Dam
The Bin El Ouidane Dam, in the Atlas foothills near Beni Mellal, holds back a striking turquoise reservoir framed by mountains and pine forest. Built in the 1950s, it remains one of Morocco's largest dams and a popular day-trip destination for its scenery and watersports, often combined with a visit to the nearby Ouzoud Falls for travellers based in Beni Mellal.
