Atlas Studios
Atlas Studios, just outside Ouarzazate, is one of the world's largest film studios and has stood in for ancient Rome, Tibet, and Ancient Egypt in productions from Gladiator to Game of Thrones. Guided tours wind through leftover sets - pharaonic temples, biblical cities, medieval fortresses - built from plaster and wood against the same desert light that first drew filmmakers to Ouarzazate.
