The Almoravid Qubba is the oldest surviving Islamic monument in Marrakech, a small 12th-century domed pavilion that once served as ablutions for a mosque no longer standing. Discovered beneath later construction and excavated in the 1950s, its carved stucco decoration is considered a founding reference point for later Almohad and Marinid architecture across Morocco.
