Agadir Beach
Agadir Beach is a long, gently sloped crescent of golden sand stretching for several kilometres along the Atlantic seafront, rebuilt after the devastating 1960 earthquake into Morocco's most modern beach resort. A wide palm-lined promenade runs its full length, backed by hotels, cafes, and watersports outfitters, and the surf is calm enough for swimming most of the year. It's the social heart of Agadir, busy with joggers, camel rides, and beach volleyball from morning to sunset.
